It’s no surprise that a lot of us have been living in loungewear for the past 12+ months, I know I definitely have. I haven’t had the need to reach for a pair of jeans or dress pants because let’s be real… Who wants to when we can live in leggings and joggers!
While scrolling through my social channels I've noticed some people that have had to dress up for zoom calls with work. I’ve always been someone that dresses a little more on the comfortable side, no matter what! But I know that’s not the case for everyone. I’m here to give you a few tips and tricks on how to dress comfortably with my staple WFH pieces.
It was very important to me to launch some “everyday” pieces at The Saree Room this year and we decided 18K gold jewelry was it for us. I love that gold jewelry has become a huge trend! I find even if you’re wearing a sweatshirt, just throwing on a chic gold chain with a pair of classic hoop earrings elevates your whole look and makes you feel more put together.
Oversized White Shirt
I love a good white dress shirt. You can easily take this type of shirt from casual to dressy. As you can see in my picture, I’ve styled mine with a comfy bralette top and ribbed lounge pants. You can even just button it up all the way and style it with a pair of joggers. The beauty is… No one’s gonna know ;).
A good high-waisted pair of joggers is a must! My favourite pair for comfort and fit are from H&M but you can get them from a few different places like Aritiza or Dynamite. You can style your joggers with a matching sweatshirt and some jewelry for a put together uniform look or style them with a white bodysuit/tank top and a cardigan.
Shoulder Pad T-shirts
These t-shirts came into trend last summer but let’s be real… We didn’t even get to showcase last summer’s style. I love these tees with a pair of leggings and your favourite gold chain for a WFH look.
Ribbed Lounge Pants
If you’re not a joggers girl like me then the best option for you would be these comfy wide leg lounge pants! These have been so popular lately and I love the look and feel of them. I would also recommend styling these with either a matching top or cardigan.
